Gameday Fastpitch is live scoring built for fastpitch softball. Tap what happened and the box score, the season stats, the standings and a live feed for everyone who couldn't make the drive all update themselves. It runs on the phone you already have, and it keeps scoring when the complex has no signal.
iPhone, from the App Store. There's no iPad version — the scoring screen is built for one hand on a fence, and a tablet build that pretends otherwise isn't worth shipping. The Android app is still in testing; on Android, open it in the browser and add it to your home screen. That works, offline scoring and all.
One app, three seats
One person taps what happened. Everyone else — in the dugout, in the stands, or three states away at work — gets it as it happens.
Pitch by pitch or result only — your call. Set the lineup, drag the order, tap the bases for steals and passed balls, and undo anything you got wrong. The book writes itself while you watch the game instead of a clipboard.
Hitting, pitching and fielding lines that move as you play. Spray charts, splits, career totals across every club you've played for, RSVP for the weekend, and a profile you can send a college coach.
A live play-by-play feed, the diamond, who's on and who's up — free to watch, no account needed. Tournament weekends are long and half the family is at the other field.
Built for fastpitch
Most of scoring is the same game. The parts that aren't are the parts that make a scorer give up on an app — so those are the ones we got right first.
Regulation is seven, so the linescore has seven columns, extra innings extend it, and a walk-off in the bottom of the seventh ends the game instead of the app asking for two more. Sounds obvious. It's the thing most cross-sport apps get wrong.
When you're tracking pitch types the pad offers fastball, change, drop, rise, curve and screw — not slider and cutter. A small thing that tells you whether anyone who built the app has watched a fastpitch game.
Baseball's daily maximums and rest days exist to protect overhand arms, and Gameday Fastpitch doesn't push them onto a windmill pitcher — nothing is on unless your league turns it on. What you get by default is her real workload: innings pitched, ERA, WHIP, batters faced, game by game.
Steals, sacrifice bunts, slap hits, passed balls, runners taking the extra base — all of it scores, and all of it lands in the stat line. (Slow pitch turns those off. That's a different app, on purpose.)
The run rule starts at 12 after five and your league can change it or switch it off. Time limits work the same way, because every tournament runs one and no two run it the same. Both are advisory: the app offers to finalize, it never ends a game behind your back.
Defensive conferences per team per game, with a counter that warns at the limit and never blocks one. The umpire is the authority; the app's job is to remember, so you're not arguing about it in the sixth.
USA Softball, PONY and the rest of the common sanctioning bodies are built in, each linking to that organisation's own official rules page — so when the argument starts, the actual book is two taps away instead of in someone's truck.
Complexes are built in fields for a reason and the signal is always terrible. Scoring works fully offline and syncs when you get service back. You will not lose a game to a dead zone.

For 16-and-up and adult clubs
Fastpitch recruiting runs on a handful of measurables and a highlight reel, and most of it lives in a spreadsheet somebody's dad maintains. Gameday puts it on the player's own page, next to the season she actually had.
What it isn't: Gameday cannot verify a 60 time and doesn't pretend to. A coach can put their name and a date to one, which is a different and more honest claim.

Point a phone or a camera at the circle and go live. The broadcast plays right next to the live scoreboard, so the people who couldn't drive four hours to the complex still see the game and the count.
For commissioners and club directors
When every team in the league scores in the same place, the league stops chasing results over text message on Sunday night. Standings, leaders and brackets build themselves out of games that were actually played.

No. It's a separate app, with its own App Store listing, built on the same scoring engine. That's the honest version: the parts that are genuinely the same game — a hit is a hit, a fielding error is a fielding error — are shared, and the parts that differ behave differently. Seven-inning regulation, softball pitch types, and no baseball pitch-count regime imposed on your pitcher. There's no "switch sports" setting to get wrong, because you downloaded the fastpitch one.
Slow pitch is its own product — Gameday Slowpitch — because the rules really do diverge: ten fielders and the rover, no stealing or bunting, the foul third strike is an out, and most leagues run a home-run cap and coed rules. Putting both in one app would have meant a settings screen every fastpitch coach has to ignore.
Yes. A team doesn't need a league to exist — create it, add the roster, and score. Pool play and bracket games are just games; the stats accumulate across all of them, and a time limit is a setting rather than an assumption. If your organisation runs the event too, the league side handles brackets and seeding.
You share an invite code or a link. Players fill in their own name, number and positions and you add them to the roster with one tap. Fans can just watch — no account needed.

On a youth club, players publish by jersey number until a coach says otherwise, and the recruiting card is off entirely for anyone under 19 unless she turns it on herself. Any player, at any age, can go private and keep their stats out of the public pages completely.
Yes. A team can have multiple managers and a dedicated scorekeeper role, so a game still gets scored when the head coach is busy coaching third.
Nothing, ever. Watching your kid play is free. That's the difference we care most about.
Your season stays yours. We don't sell data and we don't run ads. You can export a full CSV of any season at any time, and we don't delete history if a plan changes. See the privacy policy, and how to delete an account.
